I removed the decayed wood from the sill, thoroughly assessed the extent of the damage, and replaced it with new timber. To ensure long-lasting protection, I treated the newly installed timber with an aluminium primer, preparing it for a flawless paint finish. The window sill is now not only restored to its former strength but also primed and ready to be painted.
